The two main college sports that punters look to bet on are football and basketball. While there is a ton more variance in the skill-level of the schools compared to the pros (there are hundreds of schools and just 30-32 pro teams in each sport), betting on the NCAA is pretty much the same as betting on the corresponding pro league.
